Dog Angelenos, Reimagined
August 2026
Dog Angelenos gets a new digital home, bringing its approach to dog training and everyday life in Los Angeles into one connected experience.
The redesign reflects what Dog Angelenos has grown into — a dog training and lifestyle brand shaped by the dogs, people, neighborhoods, and culture of LA. Founders Sam & Zizi built it around a simple idea: help dogs become more confident, and make life with them easier, happier, and a whole lot more fun.
On the surface, the new site keeps things simple. Underneath, it introduces a much more functional system — essentially a small piece of custom software connecting the public-facing brand with the operational side of the business. Custom features include:
- Accounts and applications. Instead of a generic contact form, potential clients share details about their dog, behavior, training needs, and lifestyle before joining a program — giving the team better context from the very beginning.
- Dog profiles and photo uploads. Each dog gets its own profile, with information and photos, so training can be tailored to their needs.
- Services, programs, and purchases. Explore and book training programs, and buy through an integrated store.
- A custom dashboard. For clients, a personal portal; for the team, a central backend to manage clients, applications, purchases, dog profiles, and incoming requests.
The experience was designed to work just as naturally on mobile — where many clients first discover Dog Angelenos — as it does on desktop. Navigation, applications, account access, service discovery, and content were all considered as parts of the same system, rather than separate pages.
Visually, it moves away from the familiar language of the pet industry. Bold typography, large-format photography, motion, and small interactive details take more inspiration from fashion, culture, and contemporary digital products than from traditional dog-service websites.
Training remains at the center, but the digital experience gives Dog Angelenos room to grow beyond it — with an infrastructure that can support new services, products, content, and community features over time.
The result feels less like a traditional dog training website and more like a modern digital platform — just with a very LA personality. Visit the live site at dogangelenos.com.
